Andrian Melka is a British-Albanian figurative sculptor based in the village of Bolton Percy near York. His work reflects his profound reverence for the beauty and complexity of the human form. Drawing inspiration from classical traditions while embracing the freedom to explore new techniques, his approach to sculpture is both intuitive and deliberate.

Whether carving figures, busts and portraits in stone and marble, or sculpting them in clay to cast in bronze, Andrian seeks to capture the essence of his subjects, creating sculptures that seem to come to life and resonate on a deeply personal level.

The themes of strength and vulnerability, and obsession with the idealised human form, permeate his work as he explores the allure, and illusion, of physical perfection.
