This unique contemporary figurative bronze sculpture of a ballet dancer is inspired by an image of Iana Salenko, the Ukrainian-German ballet dancer, taken to promote Ballet for Life in 2023. Standing en-pointe and wearing a tutu, but with a curved back as if to protect herself, it is an usual and striking pose.
 
This sculpture is an original, hand-crafted piece of fine art, cast in bronze using the lost wax method.
